July 11th - Boston Handmade Marketplace

Join members and friends of Boston Handmade for our second annual Boston Handmade Marketplace in Union Square, Somerville, MA.

More than 25 artists, artisans, and craftspeople will be showing and selling handmade jewelry, clothing, accessories, housewares, art, photography, toys, and sculpture. The marketplace will feature musical entertainment by The Grownup Noise and One Happy Island, martial arts demonstrations by Shobu Aikido of Boston and hands-on craft demonstratons by The Common Cod Fiber Guild and The Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts.

Date: Saturday, July 11th, 2009 (rain date: July 12th)
Time: 3 - 7 pm

American Cancer Society Fund Raiser

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is this coming weekend and the lifesaver bracelets we've been selling to raise funds for the event will not be available after the event. So purchase yours while they're still available. It makes a great gift for your graduate! We have just a few left in each color: Amethyst, Aqua or Jet Black.

The bracelets are $20 each - proceeds benefit American Cancer Society.

The bracelet comes packaged in an adorable little gift pouch, with a card indicating your donation to American Cancer Society.
